A támogatások igénybevételén túl a jövedel-mezőségi helyzetük javításának forrása a piaci alkalmazkodás, illetve a techno-lógia javítása. Ha a termékeik értékesítési arányát növelnék a karácsonyi sze-zonban a jelenlegi húsvéti értékesítéssel szemben, valamint a kos, illetve a jerke-bárányok értékesítésében a termelők figyelembe vennék azt, hogy jelentősen eltér a két ivar hízlalásának jövedelmezősége az értékesítési súly... |

A termésát-lagok szintén a dél-dunántúli régióban voltak a legmagasabbak a vizsgált idő-szakban. • A régiók termésátlagai – az egyes régiók eltérő... |

The experimental studies were conducted in 2007-2008, 2008-2009 and 2009-2010 crop seasons, in order to know the agro-economic yield of 'Chinês' and "Macaquinho" taro clones, propagated using huge, extra, large, medium, small and tiny cormels. The harvest was done on average on 202 days after planting, in three crop seasons. Based on the joint analysis of variance carried out, it was observed that taro clones showed significant differences in the yield of fresh and dry weight of leaves, cormels, and commercial and non-commercial comels; besides, there were significant differences in yield of a crop season to another and the size of the cuttings induced significant differences in yield. In the conditions that the experiments were conducted, and considering... |

By changing marginal prices and therefore production incentives, removal of government payments will result in a re-allocation of factors of production as farm households pursue alternative economic opportunities. At the economy-wide level these impacts are small, but closer inspection reveals that some household-level impacts will be larger and other households will be affected little if at all. The underlying heterogeneity of the agricultural sector results in variable adjustment along two dimensions. First, survey data show that payments are not evenly distributed so their removal does not have a uniform impact across the sector. Second, even if payments were evenly distributed, factor endowments are not, so that ability to enter into alternative... |

This paper investigates empirically the factors that influence real agricultural wage rates in Ghana, based on 1957 to 1991 data. The Johansen cointegration framework is used to examine long-run relationships among agricultural and urban wage rates, the domestic terms of trade between agriculture and nonagriculture, urban unemployment, capital stock in agriculture and the size of the rural population. An error correction model is then used to investigate short-run dynamic relationships among the variables. The results show that: (1) there is only one stable equilibrium relationship among agricultural wage rates and their determinants in the long-run; (2) a 1 percent change in the domestic terms of trade between agriculture and non-agriculture leads to a... |

From the analysis of the role of rural retirement benefits,... |
